Debit card verification frequently asked questions

WHY DO I NEED TO VERIFY MY DEBIT CARD?

  • New regulations require us to verify all debit cards to enable deposits.

WHAT INFORMATION IS CHECKED TO VERIFY MY DEBIT CARD?

  • The card holder name is checked against your tastyfx account name to ensure they match.
  • You’re not able to register a business/corporate card to your account, or anybody else’s payment card. We view both of these as third-party sources, which we can’t allow you to use when funding your tastyfx account. We do not accept any credit cards.

WHY AM I RECEIVING A MESSAGE TELLING ME TO SCAN MY CARD AGAIN OR TRY TO VERIFY THROUGH A MICRO-DEPSOIT?

  • You could be receiving this message for a few reasons. First check that you are taking a clear picture that shows the card number, expiry date, and card holder name. The card holder name must match the name on your account. It also could be that your card is expired.
  • If you have checked all of the previous listed, scanned again and still receive the message click "micro-deposit" and enter your card details there. This method of verification does take 3-5 business days but once complete will allow you to fund your account by debit card.

WHAT IS A MICRO-DEPOSIT?

  • A micro-deposit is another way that we can verify your debit card so you can deposit funds to your account. After you enter your card details, we will run a $1 micro-deposit on your card. Then you will need to send us a photo of your bank statement showing the $1 micro-deposit. This process can take 3-5 business days to verify your debit card.
  • We only suggest using this method if you encounter an issue verifying your card through our secure app.
